Monthly Digest: Current Service Updates - September 2025

Welcome to the September 2025 edition of the SMSBAT Service Digest. This month, we have focused on improving platform stability, upgrading our API gateway capacity, and introducing several updates for developer integrations.

System Performance and Uptime

We are proud to report that our messaging systems maintained an average uptime of 99.98% throughout September. Key network upgrades have been successfully completed in our primary data center, improving message queue processing speeds by 15%.

API Gateway Optimizations

Increased Rate Limits

To accommodate growing enterprise traffic, we have expanded our default API rate limits:

  • Standard REST API limits increased from 100 to 150 requests per second (RPS) per account.
  • Bulk message submission endpoints optimized to support up to 5,000 recipient phone numbers in a single payload.

Viber Business Messages Delivery

We optimized our retry logic for users who are temporarily offline. Undelivered Viber messages will now be stored in our retry queue for up to 2 hours (7200 seconds) before falling back to SMS, reducing failed deliveries.

Integration Updates

Bitrix24 Application Update

An updated version of the SMSBAT connector for Bitrix24 has been released:

  • Improved support for sending messages to Viber Groups and Channels directly from CRM deals.
  • Fixed a bug where message delivery status updates were delayed under high loads.

Planfix Webhook Upgrades

Planfix integration has been optimized to receive delivery reports faster:

  • Added support for secure TLS 1.3 webhooks.
  • Standardized delivery notification payloads.

Looking Ahead to October 2025

Our team is currently working on:

  • Adding support for WhatsApp Business API integrations.
  • Re-architecting our client dashboard for faster loading.
  • Releasing official SDKs for Python and Node.js.
